Parihaspore The Capital Of Karkota Dynasty

Parihaspora was known as Aswoun Shahar or The city of Joy. A Bhuddhist ruler Lalitaditya made it the capital of Kashmir. He constructed three historical monuments here in 8th century BC. A 50 feet stone of 3,3600 kilos of gold and thrice of it bronze was inbuilt in the famous monument.
